The ROBOTIZED RIDER is a compact, autonomous 4×4 UGV designed to support infantry units with remote firepower, sensing, and load carriage. It combines a diesel powerpack with all-terrain tires and high ground clearance for deployment in confined or rough areas.

Its principal strengths are:

  • Autonomous mobility with large loading capacity on a 4×4 “All-Terrain” profile (215/75R15) and 300 mm ground clearance

  • Compact size for maneuvering and transport

  • Remote Weapon Station (HORNET LITE)

  • Weapon options from 7.62×51 MAG 58 to 12.7 mm.

  • Options for stretcher (MEDEVAC) and fire locating system

RIDER² UGV is powered by a Caterpillar engine and rides on 4×4 all-terrain tires to maintain traction over mixed surfaces. The chassis prioritizes volume for payloads and modular mission kits, including the HORNET LITE with day/thermal imaging and laser ranging. Control is fully remote, enabling standoff operation for force protection and mobility tasks while keeping the units under cover. 

Its main missions are:

  • Remote fire support & overwatch using the stabilized RWS (day/IR observation, laser ranging)

  • Infantry platoon support with load carriage and modular mission kits

  • Perimeter security and route observation with persistent tele-operated presence

  • Casualty evacuation (MEDEVAC) using the stretcher option

  • Counter-fire cueing/awareness with the optional fire locating system

The vehicle’s compact geometry and 300 mm ground clearance ease movement around obstacles and within narrow approaches. Mass characteristics support flexible loading while preserving mobility.

It's main mobility caracteristics are :

  • Short turning radius
  • Rough terrain and muddy conditions
  • Climbing forward / Descending in reverse
  • Stability over regurlarly spaced bumps
  • High precision maneuvering
