TNA is a highly compact earthmover equipped with a multipurpose blade on the front and a ripper at the back. It can be airtransported, heliborned and airdropped. TNA is in service in the French airborne engineers regiment. 

Airborne early entry forces require the seizure of clean, flat and secure airfields. As part of the assault force, TNA is dropped by parachute to level, clean improvised or existing airports, airstrips and runways.

The chassis is made of high performances aluminum alloy on which the cab, the engine and the tracked running gear are integrated. The cab can be tilted in order to lower the silhouette for airdroppable configuration. The cab is ROPS/FOPS certified. It is protected with STANAG4569 Level 2 add-on armor and belly protection.

It can:

  • Prepare and improve airport platforms
  • Open access routes
  • Remove snow, rocks, obstacles, vegetations and small trees
  • Create corridors to recover dropped loads
  • Create field protection: trenches, bastion walls, weapons pits
