The L-39 Skyfox is a light aircraft designed for maximum efficiency and mission effectiveness.

The airframe design is based on a proven, low wing philosophy with engineering improvements employed to create a light but rugged airframe highly resistant to FOD. The aircraft is powered by a new FJ-44-4M Williams engine providing better handling at best-in-class flight hour cost. The L-39 Skyfox features a full glass cockpit with modern, digital avionics and the option to display both western and eastern symbology. Pilot safety is enhanced through highly resistant canopy and the use of Martin Baker Mk. 16CZ 0-0 ejection seat. Four underwing pylons and one center pylon allows for the fitting of a wide range of sensors and payloads.

Full certification in accordance with EU/NATO regulations was achieved and the L-39 Skyfox has entered service with its first customers.
