RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), is currently on an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The visit aims to enhance military cooperation and defence collaboration between the two brotherly countries.

During the visit, the Field Marshal called on the Egyptian Minister of Defence and Defence Production, General Abdul Maged Saqar, and the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa Fatehi. Matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation and bilateral defence cooperation were discussed during the meetings.
