Egypt the third-largest arms importer in the world

A recent study by SIPRI has identified Egypt as the third-largest arms importer in the world between 2015 and 2019 and the largest in Africa.
"Egypt was the third-largest arms importer in the world in 2015–19. Its arms imports accounted for 5.8 per cent of the global total and were 212 per cent higher than in 2010–14."
