Egyptian Naval Forces Receive Delegation of National Training Academy Trainees.
The Egyptian Naval Forces organized a visit for a number of trainees of the National Training Academy (the second batch of the Egyptian women abroad training program), within the framework of the Armed Forces’ keenness to communicate with all national institutions and spread cultural awareness among the Egyptian society, at the Alexandria Naval Base.
The visit included a presentation of the establishment and development of the Naval Forces and their role in protecting the territorial sea and the economic interests of the Egyptian state, as well as the inspection of a number of naval units, including the helicopter carrier “Anwar El Sadat”, the frigate “Al-Aziz” and the yacht “Al-Mahrousa”, reviewing the modern and advanced capabilities that the Naval forces have attained, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Vice Admiral Ashraf Atwa, Commander of the Naval Forces, during his speech, expressed his appreciation for the visit of the National Training Academy for the Naval Forces Headquarters. He also pointed the importance of the Academy and its prominent role in training, qualifying young people and improving their skills to create generations who are capable of assuming responsibility and performing their role in building the new republic and achieving Egypt’s vision 2030.
The trainees showed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Armed Forces, for providing them with the opportunity to see the Naval Forces achievements. They also praised the development of Naval Forces’ abilities and technological capabilities, in accordance with the most recent international systems.
