OCEAN 2020 Maritime Surveillance Technologies Program EU / EDA

BARRACUDA, together with INTRACOM DEFENSE, ALTUS and the University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, participates in OCEAN 2020, the most important project related to the first European Defense Fund’s initiative to boost Europe’s defense capabilities.

OCEAN 2020 is the first example of a cross-European military research program under the Preparatory Action initiative.

The goal of all Greek partners is to contribute successfully to the OCEAN 2020 project, where, BARRACUDA will provide to the consortium an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) to be used in the maritime surveillance and interdiction operations in the Mediterranean Sea.
